TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. Silhouette Proof Approval

1.1 Selecting a suitable image

If you have a particular favourite please let us know when submitting your images, and we will take this into account, where possible.However, our judgement on which images are suitable for conversion to silhouettes is final.

If none of the images are suitable for conversion we will notify you be email and offer you a second opportunity to submit images.

1.2 Proof Approval Process

Once we have selected an apropriate image and converted it into a silhouette we will send you a proof within 7 days.

Once you have approved the proof and given us any other instructions (by email or in writing) we will do the additional design work necessary to create suitable artwork for your chosen products.

If for any reason you are not happy with the proof, we wil offer you another opportunity to send us a further selection of images for consideration.

1.3 Epic will not accept any responsibility for errors on proofs that have been approved.

1.4 Once a proof has been approved any amendments to your order that require a new proof will incur a minimum charge of £25.

2. Layout

Your products will be made up using your written instructions and the approved silhouette. Epic Silhouettes will space and set the silhouettes to create the most attractive finished product.  Epic Silhouettes’ discretion in this matter is absolute and final.

3. On-Screen Representation / Description

3.1 Whilst Epic Silhouettes make every effort to faithfully illustrate colours and lay-out, reproduction on-screen may vary from actual product.

3.2 Measurements on the site are approximate to the nearest 1/2 inch. We reserve the right to mariginally alter the measurements in order to produce the most attractive end result.

4. Lead times, Dispatch & Delivery

4.1  Orders are put into production only upon receipt of proof approval.  Since all our products are made by specialist suppliers lead times will vary. Please see individual product listings for details.

4.2 We will at all times endeavour to meet our published lead times, but there may be occasions where they are affected by situations outside our control. In these cases we will always keep you fully informed by email as to the progress of your silhouette commission.

4.3  We dispatch individual items as soon as they are ready,  so you may receive your order in more than one delivery. Deliveries will require a signature on arrival.

4.4 There is a one-off delivery charge of £5 per order irrespective of the number of items.

5. Cancellation

Cancellation after proof approval will incur the cost of all work completed to the date of notice of cancellation. This may include preparation of proofs or artwork.

6. Refunds

6.1 If you are unable to supply us with an image which we think will make a suitable silhouette you will be refunded in full.

6.2 If you send us images which are suitable for silhouettes – but you are unhappy with the silhouettes we create and choose to cancel the order, you will be refunded in full,  minus £15 design fee per silhouette to cover the design time involved in creating the artwork.

6.3 Personalized silhouettes are designed and made to order, hence, once we have received proof approval , we regret that we are unable to offer refunds or exchanges on personalized bespoke goods. However, if we have made an error in fulfilling your order, we shall promptly correct or replace the items supplied to you.

This policy does not affect your statutory rights.

6.4 Complaints regarding personalized bespoke items must be made in writing within 7 days of delivery or they will not be considered.

7. Privacy Policy

7.1 Epic Silhouettes will use any personal information collected from this web site in accordance with the  Data Protection Act 1998.

7.2 We will take appropriate measures to keep secure any personal information given by users of this site.

7.3 We will only use the information collected from this site for the purposes of contacting you,  fulfilling your order, or sending you information about our own products and services which may be of interest

7.4 We will not disclose any personal information whatsoever to third parties.

8. Financial Security

Epic Silhouettes has no direct access or handling of your credit card or other financial details. All our payment transactions are handled by secure third party payment mechanisms.

9. Copyright

9.1 By sending us your images for conversion to silhouettes you warrant that you own the copyright or have permission from the copyright holder to use the submitted images.

9.2 Copyright for the converted silhouette image will rest with Epic Scotland Ltd.

10. Storage of Images

10.1 Once we have received proof approval for your commission, or cancellation of your order we will delete all orginal images sent to us for the purposes of silhouette selection.

10.2 The digital artwork from your silhouette commission will be stored by Epic Scotland Ltd. and may be re-used by yourself on subsequent orders with Epic silhouettes at no extra design charge.
